Daniel Klein, Knowledge and Coordination: A Liberal Interpretation. An important book on an important topic; it sheds light on what economists in the "mainline" tradition (though he doesn't use this phrase) mean when they are talking about "coordination." I worry that when economists think about complex orders, they mean "mathematically complicated and very difficult to model, but we'll eventually be able to do it with high-powered AI and even higher-powered computers." At issue, though, is the fact that social phenomena are the product of human action, with all that entails.

Also, my 2023 book Strangers With Candy is out as an audiobook. $1.99 on Amazon.
